This home for a young family of five is located in the foothills of Boise, Idaho. The challenging hillside lot as well as the goal of capturing views of the downtown helped shape the floor plan of this 3,200 square foot home. The “boxes” relate to specific rooms of the residence and the large openings within those boxes frame views of the mountains in one direction and the capitol skyline to the other.
