Portrait of Travis Killmer, AIA

An Idaho native, Travis studied at the University of Idaho earning a Masters of Architecture. His focus emphasized honing skills relating to analogue graphics, sketching, and architectural representation. Upon graduating in 2013 Travis relocated to Ketchum, Idaho to begin his professional career. In the fall of 2016 Travis joined Williams-Partners as a Project Manager. Building on his knowledge and experience he found the firm culture, award winning projects, and holistic design approach to represent his own goals and desires.

Travis enjoys a well rounded architectural experience that he employs during all phases of the design and construction process. He has had the opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects including; private single-family residences, residential remodels, multifamily townhomes, commercial remodels, commercial tenant finishes, and conceptual commercial design. Collaboration and the assembly of a cohesive project team, in his opinion, often leads to a more enjoyable, efficient, and well executed project.

Travis has found Ketchum to be highly rewarding both personally and professionally and takes full advantage of its incredible work, play, and live balance. Professionally, he is an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects and has a played a key role on award winning projects. In 2014 one of his analogue architectural renderings was accepted into the Design Communication Association’s bi-annual juried exhibition. Personally, he enjoys maintaining a close proximity to nature and living in town where walking to work is just as easy as walking to the ski lifts. He works to maintain an active lifestyle and is always looking to broaden his horizons.
